Required Documents for Home Schooled Applicants

All home schooled applicants are evaluated for admission on an individual basis. In order to evaluate your application, the University of Windsor requires the following documents and supplementary information:

  • Secondary School transcripts showing results from grades 11 through 12.
    • These may be graded either by an independent home school agency or by your parent(s). The transcript should indicate the name of each course or subject covered, the grade received in each course and the number of hours or weeks studied.
  • Official results of standardized tests (such as SAT I, SAT II or ACT)
  • Portfolio
    • Course descriptions and syllabi of the courses you have studied with a list of texts. Sample graded tests and essays. Résumé including any volunteer experience.
